Hi, Will Grimsey here, otherwise known as Biker Will. I’ve prepared this introductory clip ahead of a music album that I have written and produced called Mockers. This set of songs is to support my book Mockers which was published and launched a year ago.
I’m a seventy-four-year-old retired retailer. I was the Chief Executive of some household names in my time such as Wickes, Iceland, Booker and Focus Do-It-All. But that is all history now. My passion today is riding motorbikes with old school mates, listening to Mod and Rocker music from the sixties and living the dream if you like. Last year T was fortunate enough to spend two weeks riding Harley Davidsons in the Wild West of America, almost three thousand miles of riding. Although I am a committed Triumph Rocker man, I have a Rocket 3R, I must admit the Harleys rode well through the mountains and valleys.
I wrote my novel, Mockers, to demonstrate that growing up in the sixties was exciting, full of wonderful new music, creative fashions against the austere times following WW2, sometimes there was violence but mostly it was just breathtaking fun.

However, back to the present. My excitement is bubbling over for my Mockers Music Album that I have written and produced. Whilst I was riding through Death Valley in the States almost a year ago with a bunch of fellow bikers when I hit on the idea to write a music album to support the book. Since then, I have written the lyrics to 13 songs, produced the music working with two accomplished musicians and Ai.
In the days leading up to the launch of the website I released a clip about each song how it fits with the Mockers story in an effort to wet your appetite in advance of the record launch.
